"FIFA" fines Al-Ahly of Egypt .. and severe penalties await him if he does not pay the date

The Dispute Chamber of the International Federation (FIFA) fined Al-Ahly club 300,000 pounds in favor of the English Huddersfield Town in the Ramadan Sobhi deal, according to Egyptian media, including the site "Fi Joule".

Al-Ahly had contracted with Ramadan Sobhi on loan for a season and a half between January 2019 and August 2020 in two periods.

Dispute Chamber Decisions

Al-Ahly must pay 150,000 pounds in addition to 5% annual interest, starting from October 19, 2020 until the date of the actual payment.


£150,000 plus interest at 5% per annum from December 28, 2020 until the effective date.


Any further claims of the plaintiff/defendant are rejected.


In accordance with Clause 24 of the Player Status and Transfer Regulations (August 2021 release), if full payment (including all applicable interest) is not made within 45 days of notification of this decision, additional penalties will apply.

In the event that Al-Ahly does not pay within 45 hours


- the defendant (Al-Ahly) is prevented from registering any new players, whether at the local or international level, until the amount due is paid.

The maximum ban is up to three consecutive full registration periods.

- Suspension is implemented upon request of the FIFA Disciplinary Committee in the event of non-payment of the full amount (including all applicable interest).

The final costs of the proceedings of $20,000 must be paid by the defendant (Al-Ahly).
