Toronto Blue Jays' Ryu Hyun-jin, who endured the pain, was eventually placed on the 15-day disabled list.

The Toronto club decided and announced Ryu Hyun-jin's IL listing today (3rd).

The reason for the IL listing is 'Left forearm inflammation'.

Hyun-jin Ryu started the day before in the home game against the Chicago White Sox at the Rogers Center in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and threw only 4 innings (4 hits, 3 runs and 2 earned runs) with 58 balls and came down the mound.

The reason for the early grater was 'uncomfortable feeling in the left forearm'.

After the game, Ryu Hyeon-jin said, "It felt similar to April."

Hyunjin Ryu suffered a left forearm pain after the Oakland Athletics match on April 17th, and made his first IL appearance on April 18th.

Hyun-Jin Ryu was rehabilitated for about a month until his comeback game against the Tampa Bay Rays on May 15th.

After his rehabilitation, his back results were good.

Hyunjin Ryu rebounded in 3 games on May (15th against Tampa Bay, 4⅔ innings, 4 hits and 1 run, 21st against the Cincinnati Reds, 6 innings, 6 hits, and on the 27th, 5 innings, 6 hits and 2 runs against the Los Angeles Angels).

But, he also had red flags.

On the 27th of last month, when Hyun-Jin Ryu played his first match against Shohei Ohtani, against the Angels, Hyun-Jin Ryu threw only 65 balls and passed the mound.

After the Angels game, manager Charlie Montoyo said, "Hyun-Jin Ryu felt discomfort in his left elbow, so he changed it after five innings."

Hyun-Jin Ryu, with an uncomfortable feeling remaining in his left forearm, forced the White Sox back on the 2nd day, and eventually escaped.

Looking back at the case in April, it is expected that it will take about a month to return to the major leagues.
