Sweden started the Nations League game with an away win against Slovenia.

Before, during and after the match, a lot has been about the new Swedish game system where the national team captain Janne Andersson has switched to a 4-3-3 formation.

SVT Sports expert Daniel Nannskog is satisfied with the three-pointer.

- Considering that it was the first match in 4-3-3 without two central players in the form of Victor Nilsson Lindelöf and Albin Ekdal, it was a fully approved effort.

"There we got a real hit"

Sweden's goal was scored by Emil Forsberg and Dejan Kulusevski.

Nannskog praises the latter's efforts.

- What was really good about this new system was that we got to see Kulusevski in his right element.

When we sent the ball out to him on the edge, we saw him step in with his to finish or play with his nice left foot.

He gets to turn right in his favorite surface.

There we got a real hit.

But the defensive game should be improved, according to the expert.

- When Sweden owned the ball on the Slovenes' half of the field and lost it, it became extremely large areas for the home team to switch on.

It could have punished itself against sharper resistance.

It will be important to have a better balance in the future and close the surfaces.

The midfielders can help the back line in a better way.

- If we look at the midfield position, which has recently become very interesting, I think that Carl Starfelt, Joakim Nilsson and Alexander Milosevic handle it well.

Many times they were left alone without backing from the midfield - but they still managed to solve it in a good way.

"Have a heavier day"

Viktor Claesson's contribution left a lot to be desired.

- He has a heavier day, even though he fixed the penalty.

Claesson's timing was not there and it felt like he had no control over his legs.

Unfortunately, we also saw this during the last collection and that impression remains.

I would say that it is open about that left-wing position and that Jesper Karlsson and Anthony Elanga have a chance to pinch the starting spot.

Nannskog on the continuation of the Nations League:

- Incredibly nice start anyway for Janne Andersson with a three-pointer and a held zero.

This is a match to be able to analyze and start from.

On Sunday, a tougher test awaits when Norway comes to visit.
