National soccer player Serge Gnabry has avoided statements about the status of his negotiations for a new contract with FC Bayern Munich.

He "does not want to comment here," said the 26-year-old offensive player on Thursday in the team quarters of the German national football team in Herzogenaurach: "So please no more questions."

Gnabry's contract with the German champions runs until the summer of 2023. So far, there has been no early extension.

According to media reports, the two parties differ in terms of the financial conditions for an extension.

Gnabry: "Not just the money"

Regarding appreciation in professional football, the winger said in general that it was “not just what many people say, that each of us only thinks about money”.

It is much more "a mix of everything" that has to come from both sides.

"There are other things in the employment relationship that play a major role," said Gnabry.
