Ebba Andersson chose, after some thought, to accept the place in the national team.

- I can be honest and say that I have valued how I should do.

You have to do that.

I have weighed the pros and cons of being in a national team.

But in the end I came to the conclusion that there were more advantages than what weighed against, she told Expressen.

"Ready to do a good job"

She was not surprised to see her teammates bet on their own for the coming season, but she finds it sad to see her former colleagues, and sparring partners, go.

- Of course it is a loss for the national team that Frida, Maja and Linn have chosen to stop for this training summer and autumn, she says to SVT Sport.

She continues:

- But it is lucky that you still have strong girls in the team to train with and are sparred against.

We are several girls who are ready to do a good job together no matter what, she says after the roller ski race in Falun, and points to national team colleague Moa Olsson.

"We are hungry girls"

Andersson won and Olsson, who hopes to be one of the driving forces in the remaining national team, finished third.

- I think we are a good bunch, with good "go", we are hungry girls who want to show their front feet all the time and it is really important to do their best and show that you are really eager to go really fast this winter, says Olsson.
