China News Service, Beijing, June 1st. According to Beijing Guoan Football Club, Chinese football legend Li Songhai passed away on May 31, 2022 at the age of 80.

  Li Songhai was born in 1941. As a player, he played for the National Railway Team and the Beijing Team, and represented the national team in the Asian Games and Asian Cup qualifiers.

  After retiring, Li Songhai served as a goalkeeper coach for the National Junior Team, the National Olympic Team and the National Team, and is also one of the founders of Beijing football.

He trained Zhang Lu, Lu Jianren, Ou Chuliang, Fu Bing, Yao Jian and other outstanding domestic goalkeepers, and trained his son Li Leilei to become the national team goalkeeper.
