After the big loss (1-4) against Värnamo, Jörgen Lennartsson was fired from his job as coach of the all-Swedish jumbo team Helsingborg.

Instead, the former players Mattias Lindström and Alvaro Santos had to take over the club temporarily, with the former goalkeeper Sven Andersson as assistant coach.

Now the club announces that this will be a permanent solution.

- We have closely followed Álvaro and Mattia's collaboration in U21 for 1.5 years and seen a positive development in their way of leading the team.

We have a strong belief that our coaches can lead the team to a secure Allsvenskan game in 2023, says HIF's sports director Andreas Granqvist in a press release.
