IFK Skövde cheered when the final signal sounded after 60 minutes in Friday's SM final against Ystad after Jack Thurin decided the match in the last second.

But after a discussion with the secretariat in Ystad, the judges chose to blow away the case - the time had simply passed.

Skövde responded by protesting against the decision when they considered it to be incorrect.

The protest came in to the handball association's protest committee this weekend.

Now the committee's chairman Ralf Lundberg tells Skaraborg Allehanda that the protest will not even be dealt with.

- It is with the reason that it is not a rule error but falls under the department assessment.

Then it is the judges and delegates who make the decision, says Ralf Lundberg to the newspaper.
