FIFA transfer ban not lifted

Dalian Club will not be able to sign in the short term

The Dalian team originally planned to leave for Haikou City on May 31 was changed to depart on June 1 for some reason.

Although there have been media reports recently that the Dalian People's Club and its first-team coach Xie Hui are contacting some of the former Chongqing Liangjiang Athletic Team players, but affected by the ban issued by FIFA, the Dalian People's Club is in the process of repaying the salary arrears involved in the player contract dispute. , unable to introduce and register new aid.

In other words, it is difficult for the club to add new aid before the temporary transfer window of domestic professional football closes on June 10, and the team will still play in the first stage of the Chinese Super League in the new season with a high probability.

On May 27, the Chinese Football Association announced the "Notice on the follow-up work arrangements for Chongqing Liangjiang Athletic Football Club's withdrawal from the Chinese Super League" through official channels.

It is clearly stated above that a temporary transfer window will be added for the former Chongqing Liangjiang Athletic Team members. Among them, the window period for Chinese Super League and Chinese League One clubs to handle transfers is from May 27 to June 10.

After being promoted to the Chinese Super League in the new season as a supplementary team, the Dalian team, which has no foreign aid configuration, objectively needs to supplement new aid, especially foreign aid, to cope with the competition in the Chinese Super League.

But in the middle of this month, FIFA sent a notice to the Chinese Football Association prohibiting the Dalian Club from introducing registered new aid because the club was involved in a dispute over wage arrears for players.

That is to say, the ban can only be lifted if the club pays off the wages owed to the complainant.
