At the press conferences of the coaches at the end of the final of the Russian Football Cup, as well as after each decisive match, completely different emotions reigned.

Dynamo coach Sandro Schwartz looked terribly sad and upset.

The specialist began by thanking his team and the opponent.

“I want to congratulate Spartak on the victory.

The game was intense on both sides.

Maybe the red-whites were more fortunate.

Of course, we are very bitter, but we fought until the very end, right up to the final whistle, showed spirit throughout the season.

Very sad that we lost.

But we must move on.

If we put our defeat in the Russian Cup and the way we performed during the year on the scales, I think that the positive outweighs.

I am grateful to the team, players, all the staff who took an active part in the life of the team.

We wanted to win today not only for ourselves, but also to thank Andrey Voronin and Ivan Ordets for the work done.

Unfortunately, it didn't work.

As for the penalty, the player took on a lot of responsibility.

Unfortunately, this happens.

But we supported him and especially support him now,”

The German explained the passive start of the match by the youth of the team.

In his opinion, Dynamo players simply do not have enough experience yet.

“We are talking about a very high intensity of the meeting.

And the first dim half can be explained precisely by these moments.

After the break, we tried to turn the game around, to make it in our favor.

Before the second goal of "Spartak" we had a good attack, and we ourselves could excel.

It is very bitter, of course, to lose today.

The match ended tragically for us.

But again, I thank the whole team for how they showed themselves, ”said Schwartz.

At the same time, the blue-and-white coach noted that the final performance of Dynamo was affected by the departure of coach Andrei Voronin and defender Ivan Ordets, who left the country after the start of a special operation in Ukraine.

“We live in difficult times.

And I also felt it myself.

But the players and all the staff proudly carry the banner of Dynamo, go through all the difficult times.

Therefore, I am grateful to them.

It cannot be said that the departure of Ordets and Voronin did not affect the team in any way.

Of course it did.

This is a very important coach and player in our team.

But throughout the season, the blue and white showed character.

We tried to take a hit.

Shoulder to shoulder.

And I just said that today to the guys in the locker room.

We endured and spent the whole season without emotional pits.

This means that we have a serious character, which is only being tempered, ”the German emphasized.

Schwartz also explained why Igor Leshchuk stood at the Dynamo goal in the final, and not Anton Shunin, who has extensive experience playing for the blue and white.

“As I said on Friday, we have a high-quality team of goalkeepers, but since Leshchuk played the entire Russian Cup, this time the choice was in his favor.

If it came to penalties, the psychological advantage would be on our side, because we have already managed to win a penalty shootout in this tournament, ”said the head coach of Dynamo.

The press conference ended on an even sadder, though expected note.

Schwartz announced that he was leaving the team.

“I had a fairly open and constructive conversation with management.

We discussed that the world has changed a lot lately, but I always emphasized that we must go all the way with the team to the end, play the season together.

The decision to stay was justified by this.

But the situation in the world is not easy, so today is really my last game.

I want to note that my decision has no underlying reason.

It's not about the fact that there is an agreement with some other club, ”the specialist noted.

In parting, Schwartz thanked the team with whom he worked at Dynamo, and said that he was glad to train the blue and white.

“We lived through a lot of emotional moments.

And speaking of my team, these are incredible people who have been around me for all this time.

Since February 24, perhaps, something has changed, some difficulties have appeared.

But we still lived through them all together.

I understood that the team needed my support, somewhere we had heated conversations, we discussed a lot.

And I am glad that I had the opportunity to lead the team, ”concluded the German.

Paolo Vanoli's communication with journalists was completely different.

The Italian happily entered the hall and began to share his emotions.

“How to comment on such moments?

I'm happy!

I want to thank Dynamo.

But we must also give credit to our team: the coaching staff and all the players.

Two teams advance to the final.

And for one, the match ends with a holiday, but for the other, it doesn’t.

Spartak was well prepared today.

Thank you guys very much.

The only negative is that we could not maintain concentration throughout the meeting.

This is what we have to work on further, ”said the red-white mentor.

At that moment, the Spartak players ran into the press center and poured champagne on the coach, translator and everyone who was nearby, and then settled in the hall.

Samuel Gigot, who played the last match for the Muscovites, decided to try himself as a journalist and began to ask Vanoli questions.

"What do you think of today's game, coach?"

the defender asked.

The mentor of the red-whites was not at a loss and quickly figured out how to laugh it off.

“We, unfortunately, have to leave at the end of the season Gigot.

And I asked the club's management for the next year to buy me a football player in his place, but only with the same last name, ”said the Italian.

The answer to the second question of the defender: “Do you remain in Spartak?

- certainly wanted to hear and real journalists.

But the Italian just laughed and decided to leave the hall until his wards smashed the room.
