Even before three minutes were played, Norrköping, in honor of the day, had produced two dangerous chances.

If the ball had passed between the posts and the crossbar, Tim Rönning would have had to pick it up.

Jonathan Levis and Eman Markovic's finish changed the direction of the defender but to the Elfsborg goalkeeper's luck, played away as he was, both went to corners.

Daniel Eid and Oscar Jansson did not have the same luck.

Oliver Zandén pulled to the left in Elfsborg's first long attack after twelve minutes.

No remarkable shot, but the ball took on Eid, changed direction significantly and put Jansson.

-We build up the good on the right side, the ball comes to me and I just think about shooting and then it takes on one and goes in goal, Zandén says to Discovery +.

Fed on

So far, Norrköping had had a clear advantage and mostly pushed Elfsborg deep down on Borås' half of the field.

Norrköping fed on, preferably from the edges and preferably via Markovic's and Levi's insert feet.

But it was a bit so and so with the precision of the balls that Christoffer Nyman was looking for.

Elfsborg was right, did not let go much and could, with the security a management gives, tactically evaluate when it was time to move forward.

And then it went away.

Rasmus Alm ran deep, the pass from Simon Olsson was perfectly timed and directed and Alm eased in his fourth Allsvenskan goal of the season behind Jansson.

-We play through, we are good at getting behind their midfield and create chances and score two goals, says Zandén.

Nyman's double

Just a minute later, shortly before half time, Nyman was finally reached by a sensible post (Ari Skulason).

If Nyman is left on that surface, he punishes opponents.

The nod to 1-2 gave Norrköping contact and shortly afterwards the attacking veteran was extremely close to nodding in the equalizer but the ball hit the top of the crossbar.

-Ari got a good chip, someone pulls the center back in front of me and then it goes in, says Nyman to Discovery +.

Oscar Jansson's sharp saves after the break kept Norrköping in the match.

Nyman's equalizer came with a quarter left - also on the nod - after a super fast attack where Abdulrazaq Ishaq checked out André Rømer and reached Nyman at the far post.

Entertaining and messy ending

Then things happened in both directions.

Levi dotted the post, Okkel's crossbar and both Nyman and Ishaq had great positions.

As if that was not enough, Okkels sent another ball into the crossbar with a powerful scissor kick.

Norrköping has had bigger and bigger problems with a small clique of hooligans on its stand gallery Curva Nordahl.

The second half began with a Bengal fire by a bunch of masked spectators, it continued with thrown objects and in the end the referee Fredrik Klitte got enough and temporarily broke the match.

With seven minutes of extra time, it was still open throttle in search of a winning goal, but the match ended 2-2.
