It was both elated and at the same time tired Emma Berglund who met SVT's reporter after the match.

The summit between Swedish women's football's currently two best teams was only decided in the second overtime quarter, when a controversial goal by German jumper Stefanie Sanders was judged to cross the finish line.

- I feel joy of course.

It was a really fun match to play and a lot happened out there, I hope it was fun to watch, says Emma Berglund.

"We gave and we took out"

The national team-qualified 33-year-old was the team captain in Rosengård for the evening, when an overloaded Caroline Seger in need of rest started on the bench and was replaced only in the final stages.

The hurdle was clearly stronger in the first half, with many rushes and high pressure.

But Rosengård worked his way into the match and in the second half the match picture was the opposite - where the home team poured in chances and had great ball possession.

- We gave and we took both teams out there and then it is all the more pleasant to win in the end, says Berglund.

Fourth cup victory for Rosengård

How important is it to win from such a tough match?

- Of course, it is important for morale and for all players who really give everything out there.

It means a lot that we manage to come back from a disadvantage.

The cup victory is Rosengård's fourth, after winning three straight cup titles between 2016 and 2018.
