Sävehof was able to secure their 15th Swedish Championship gold in Eriksdalshallen on Wednesday night, when the fourth of five matches in the final series in the women's Swedish Championship final in handball was decided.

But it was Skuru who took the lead after making a drastic change in the defensive game compared to previous matches in the series.

Instead of playing offensively, they chose to focus more on the defense and at most Skuru, who won one of three matches in the final series until today, led with three balls.

- It has leaked backwards, so to speak, stated Ellen Vuotilainen during the half-time break in C More.

Then it was 11-11 since Sävehof managed to catch up after just over 24 minutes of play - and with confident Sofie Börjesson in the goal, they had managed to adapt to Skuru's new game.

In the second half, it was Sävehof who ruled and set.

With five minutes left in the game, they had an eight-goal lead.

An advantage that simply became too big for Skuru.

Had Skuru equalized, they would have had a chance to take the second Swedish Championship gold in a row and the fifth overall.
