Julia Spetsmark has over 100 damallsvenska matches on the merit list and made her debut already as a 17-year-old in Mallbacken.

She was also part of the Swedish national team squad that played the European Championships in the Netherlands in 2017.

But now the 32-year-old announces that his career is over.

She talks about the decision in a post on Instagram.

- I feel very happy to have spent so many years with this sport, creating bonds and memories with people who will be forever.

For all the incredible journeys and ups and downs.

It has been a pleasure, she writes on Instagram.

Most matches for Spetsmark were in Örebro.

But the 32-year-old has also managed to represent Manchester City, North Carolina Courage and Benfica before she now ends her career at the French club Fleury.
