The World Cup for sports climbing and bouldering was held in the United States, with Yoshiyuki Ogata in second place and Rei Kawamata in third place for boys.

Tomoa Narasaki, who had been on the podium for two consecutive World Cup races, was eliminated in the semi-finals.

Bouldering in sport climbing is an event in which you compete for how many courses you have climbed within the time limit, which is called a "task".

The third round of the World Cup this season was held on the 22nd in the men's final in Salt Lake City, USA.

Ogata climbed the first and second tasks to the end in one shot, and although he struggled a little with the third task, he succeeded with about 10 seconds remaining.

Ogata, who climbed the fourth task to the end and succeeded in all four tasks, came in second due to the difference in the number of times it took to climb, and went up to the podium for three consecutive races from the opening round.

In addition, Kawamata climbed all three tasks to the end and finished third, his first World Cup podium.

On the other hand, Japanese ace Narasaki, who had been on the podium for two consecutive races so far, was eliminated in the semi-finals.

The winner was French player Medidi Charlook.
