Manchester City retains the English Premier League title with a “crazy” scenario

Manchester City won the English Premier League title for the fourth time in five seasons after rebounding in a stunning 3-2 victory over Aston Villa thanks to three goals in six minutes at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

City found themselves behind with goals from Mate Kash and Philippe Coutinho after 69 minutes from the start, but Pep Guardiola's team rose up incredibly after the participation of substitute Ilkay Gundogan.

Gundogan reduced the difference with a header in the 76th minute, then Rodri equalized with a powerful shot from the edge of the penalty area two minutes later, before Gundogan scored the third goal from close range in the 81st minute.

City's tally of 93 points is one point behind rivals Liverpool, whose hopes of winning four titles this season have ended.

Liverpool won the League Cup and the FA Cup, and will play the Champions League final against Real Madrid next Saturday.
