Chinese referee Ma Ning was selected as the main referee, and Cao Yi and Shi Xiang were selected as assistant referees.

  According to reports, the Qatar World Cup referee list consists of 36 chief referees, 69 assistant referees and 24 video assistant referees.

There are 6 female referees on the list, and this is the first time a female referee has participated in the enforcement of the Men's World Cup.

  FIFA said that the selection of referees for the Qatar World Cup was launched in 2019, and the list was determined based on the overall level of referees and their performance in international competitions in recent years.

"The selected referees represent the highest level of refereeing in the world," said Collina, chairman of the FIFA Referee Committee.

  The Qatar World Cup will be held in eight stadiums in Qatar from November 21 to December 18, 2022.
