The two Swedes were flawless in the class which was a time jump.

Peder Fredricson with Catch Me Not S placed individually in ninth place.

Baryard Johnsson with the Olympic horse H&M Indiana placed just behind in tenth place.

With their flawless rounds, the times were enough to put the team in a leading position.

- It was a fantastic day for us, Indiana was quite wild yesterday in the warm-up and she was a little wild today too, but she jumps with her heart and I am super happy.

This arena is a big difference from last week, it's good that it's a smaller ring so I have a little more control this week so it should hopefully help, says Baryard Johnsson to GCL afterwards.

"The best position"

This is the second time during the season that the team has this starting position and is in a leading position before the final day.

But there is nothing that scares the Swedish riders who are used to pressured situations.

- It is good that we like to be in this position, we are really happy for the start we got today and we will do our very best on Saturday.

It is the best position because it means that you have done well - and we like that, says Fredricson and continues:

- It is clear that there is a bit of pressure and we really want to do well, it is an important competition and we have all our friends here, the owners and team owners and sponsors so we are really looking forward to Saturday.

Just behind them chases the Prauge Lions duo with Pieter Devos and Niels Bruynseels.

They also rode flawlessly but at slower times.

After them, five teams ended up on four errors - with the Rome Gladiators in the lead.

The class was won by Marlon Mondolo Zanotelli, Brazil, with Like a diamond by het Schaeck.
