There was a bit of rallycross already last year when Mikaela Åhlin-Kottulinsky took home first and second place when the Side by side class in Nitro RX was decided in Florida.
A success that gave her a bleeding tooth and now it is clear that it will be a rallycross bet next season.
Together with Team JC she will compete in Nitro RX, in the class NRX Next.
- I am very much looking forward to being part of Joel's team again, they have grown into one of the biggest teams and reaped great success since I last drove there.
For my own part, it will of course be an escalator to rallycross, the opposition will be tough, but as always I will do my best and I am very tagged on this new challenge, says Åhlin-Kottulinsky in a press release.

- I know Mikaela since she drove Gokart, already as a 14-year-old I was a mechanic for her at some races so it will be fun to work with Mikaela again.
We know that she can drive a car and one of her great advantages is to listen to instructions and then put it into practice.

The NRX Next European Championship consists of three competitions, where the start of the season kicks off in England on 18–19 June, followed by Sweden 30–31 July and finally Finland 27–28 August.
