The expression "Finland's cause is our cause" has been used extensively over the years, and especially recently in the matter of a joint application to NATO.

But when the nations meet on Wednesday night in a group final, Tre Kronor's thing is exactly Tre Kronor's thing.

- Finland has put it together really well and got it together in many tournaments.

It is important that we are on our toes.

This is our achievement.

Finland are favorites in this tournament and it would be extra fun if we could win at home, says Joakim Nordström.

"Walk straight back in the corridors"

Jonathan Pudas has a past in the Finnish Jokerit and is well acquainted with several of the players in the Finnish national team.

Therefore, the meeting will be extra prestigious.

- It is always an extra spice in those matches and a little more emotion.

There will probably be a lot of pressure on the stands as well.

It would be nice to snap the pimples on the nose so you can walk straight back in the hotel corridors, Pudas grins.

Finland has started the tournament by beating Norway, Latvia and the USA.

- They have done well so far and are one of the teams that have a chance to go all the way.

I hope we can play our own game.

If we do that, we have good chances of winning, says Pudas.
