Norway totally dominated against Great Britain in the match, and released only a single shot against their own goal in the first period.

Despite that, they only scored one goal, when Andreas Klavestad's back shot was controlled by a British defender.

Three quick goals

In the second period, the British played up, but Norway still expanded twice, via Mathis Olimb.

In the third period, the Norwegians seemed to have good control over the events, and with seven minutes left, it was still 3-0.

Then something happened.

In three minutes and 18 seconds, Great Britain scored three goals, and the match went to extra time.

But the extra time was goalless, and in the penalty shootout the Norwegians were the strongest.

The British scored only one goal, while the Norwegians scored two - and took an extremely important win in the battle to stay in the top division.
