Polish Lewandowski joined Borussia Dortmund from Polish Lech Poznan in 2010.

He almost immediately became a reliable goal scorer, and moved to Bayern Munich in 2014.

"Would like to do something else"

In Bavaria, there have been slightly unlikely 343 goals in 374 competition matches.

But now it seems that the 33-year-old's time with the German league champions is coming to an end.

- I've talked to "Lewa".

In the conversation, he told me that he will not accept our offer to extend the contract, and that he would like to leave the club, says Bavarian sports director Hasan Salihamidzic to German Sky.

- He said he would like to do something else.

No ongoing negotiations

Lewandowski's contract with Bayern Munich also applies over the next season, and it seems that the club expects him to stay until then.

- Our attitude has not changed.

"Lewa" has a contract that is valid until June 30, 2023. That is a fact, says Salihamidzic, who also says that they have not negotiated with any other clubs.
