Calgary started the quarterfinals with a victory, but then went on two straight losses.

But in Dallas on Tuesday morning Swedish time, the Swedish-tight team was able to equalize.

It was Rasmus Andersson who in numerical superiority, five against three, scored his fifth goal of the season with a long shot.

The puck went in the crossbar and in, and with that, Calgary took the lead halfway into the second period.

But it was in the end that Calgary could decide.

Johnny Gaudrau increased the penalty, and shortly afterwards the next man arrived at Dallasburen - Elias Lindholm.

Lindholm arranged 3-0 (45th goal this season), before John Klingberg's Dallas in powerplay could reduce to 1-3 through Tyler Seguin.

Forsberg and Ekholm knocked out

With just under 20 seconds left, Calle Järnkrok played the puck to Mikael Backlund who was able to score 4-1 in an empty goal cage (13th goal of the season) and Calgary was able to celebrate a draw in the match series.

Jakob Markström was flawless in 34 shots out of 35. Oliver Kylington also played for Calgary.

The teams meet next time tomorrow, for the fifth match of seven.

In the morning, Colorado was ready for the quarterfinals, after defeating Nashville 4-0 in the fourth game and a total of 4-0 in games.

That means the NHL playoffs are over for Filip Forsberg and Mattias Ekholm in Nashville.
