Los Angeles Kings Carl Grundström missed the third game in the round of 16 against the Edmonton Oilers due to an injury, but last night he was back in the lineup and many LA Kings fans are probably happy about that.

The 24-year-old Swede made a really good effort.

First, he played Trevor Moore to the 1-0 goal just over eight minutes into the first period and then he scored his first playoff goal in the NHL at the end of the third period when he fell in the puck behind Mike Smith in the Edmonton goal.

Fell?

Yes, that's probably the best description you can give for the goal was really odd.

It started with Edmonton defender Darnell Nurse felling Grundström with a classic leg scissors after the Swede got past the edge, Grundström then slid towards the goal and somehow got the puck behind Smith.

After looking at the replay pictures for a few minutes after the NHL's situation room, they finally came to the conclusion that they could do nothing but approve the goal.

A moment later, Grundström struck again when he put the last goal of the match in the open box with 1.31 left to play.

With the Los Angeles victory, it is now acknowledged in the match series.
