Last Friday, Jenny Rissved made her season debut in the World Cup in mountain biking in Allbstadt, Germany.

Then it was an immediate success and a third place for the Swede.

In today's competition, she was once again in the lead in the race.

In the first lap of five, she placed second behind Rebecca McConnell, who took her first World Cup victory on Friday, and the duo made a small jerk from the rest of the starting field.

Rissveds had the lead for a long time in the competition with McConnell close behind.

But on the fourth lap, the Australian made an attempt to bypass Rissveds - and managed to pull away.

When Rissveds went out on the last lap of the race, she was 38 seconds behind McConnell.

And the Swede did not manage to approach anything during the last lap.

Rebecca McConnell took her second straight victory in the World Cup.

Rissveds finished 48 seconds behind McConnell and thus took second place this weekend.
