The Gabriel-Montpied stadium hosted Clermont Foot and Montpellier for the 36th day of Ligue 1. Clermont Foot won against their opponents, with a score of 2 to 1. Note Bayo's big game, which marked the meeting with his decisive pass and his goal.

Gastien chose a usual 4-3-3 for his Clermont starting 11.

Dall'Oglio favored a rather attacking 3-5-2, with Mavididi and Germain in attack.

The Montpellier team quickly found themselves behind, from the 4th minute of the first half.

It was on a pass from Bayo that Rashani found the fault.

However, Chotard allowed his team to pick up the score on a service from Souquet in the 33rd.

At the break, the two teams parted momentarily with the score of 1-1.

In the 69th, Bayo scored the final goal of the match, in favor of Clermont Foot.

This meeting between the two teams was tense.
