FC Nantes won the fourth French Cup in their history on Saturday evening.

The Canaries beat OGC Nice 1-0 on a penalty from captain Ludovic Blas.

This Sunday, the players were welcomed in the center of the city, by supporters who came in (very) large numbers.

"We are in euphoria"

But the latter had to wait before seeing the players of Antoine Kombouaré.

Indeed, the people of Nantes arrived more than an hour late, enough time to return in the afternoon from the Stade de France.

They cheered their team mounted on a platform in front of the town hall.

"We are in euphoria. We try to be in communion with everyone and we just want to enjoy the moment. The whole city is behind us and it's beautiful", explains midfielder Samuel Moutoussamy.
