The 32-year-old midfielder was missing in both Thursday's and Friday's training session and is not included against AIK today.
IFK Gothenburg writes on its website that he is absent due to "personal reasons", but according to the two evening newspapers, this is a disciplinary measure on the part of the club.
They write that a loud quarrel arose between Sana and coach Mikael Stahre before the second half in "Blåvitt's latest match against Kalmar.
The quarrel must have been about different opinions about how the team should play.
- As I have communicated before, he is not included for personal reasons.
We stop there.
Then we will see where it takes us in the next few days, Mikael Stahre told SportExpressen on Friday.
- We do not comment on what happens in a changing room and what happens inside the walls at Kamratgården.
SVT Sport has contacted IFK Gothenburg's club director Håkan Mild who responds briefly via text message: "Has nothing to add there".
Stated to be suspended internally
GT writes that Sana was suspended for a week immediately after Monday's match against Kalmar.
Tobias Sana has started in all of Gothenburg's matches this season.
Last year, he was noted for seven goals and five assists in 29 matches in the Allsvenskan and also got to be team captain.
His contract with the club expires after the season.
