Tre Kronor was looking for revenge after the loss against the Czech Republic in the premiere of Beijer Hockey Games.

And it was revenge - despite a tough start to say the least against Switzerland.

Timo Meier broke the deadlock halfway into the first period in game four against four.

The San Jose forward got the puck in the castle and found the gap behind Marcus Högberg to 1-0.

At the end of the first period came the next cold shower for Tre Kronor.

Oskar Lang went out two minutes for slashing and with five seconds left of the period, Janis Moser was able to control 2-0.

The NHL players behind the turnaround

After a goalless midfield, Emil Bemström gave Sweden contact halfway into the third period.

The forward pushed in the reduction with a hard shot in numerical superiority.

Shortly afterwards, NHL reinforcement Oliver Ekman-Larsson made sure that it was acknowledged when he sent in 2-2 from the blue line.

The match went to extra time where Henrik Tömmernes stayed ahead and pushed home the victory to Sweden.

Tomorrow, Tre Kronor will play its last match in the Beijer Hockey Games, where they will face Finland.

SVT broadcasts the rival meeting starting at 15.50 on SVT1.
