The Saudi national football team will play four friendly matches in preparation for the Qatar World Cup 2022, three of which are confirmed against Colombia, Venezuela and Ecuador in June and September, according to what the Saudi Federation announced on Friday.

Al-Akhdar will hold two preparatory camps in the Spanish city of Alicante in June and September, as part of the first and second phases of the national team programme.

The Saudi national team was placed in a third group that includes Argentina, Mexico and Poland.
