The fifth match in the final series was admittedly not directly decisive, but with a match ball before the sixth final, Luleå now has the opportunity to become Swedish champions on Monday.

The home team immediately grabbed the baton, while Färjestad became passive and let themselves get tired of Luleå's long and many attacks in both the first and second period.

Despite this, and six minutes in powerplay in the first, it took until the middle of the second period before Luleå for the first time found themselves behind big-playing Dominik Furch in the Färjestad goal.

Julius Honka arranged 1-0, but Furch did not let the Norrbotten go out of the second period with a bigger lead than that.

Three goals in the third period

When Färjestad then feverishly chased the equalizer in the beginning of the third, Joel Lassinantti stood in the Luleå goal podium.

Two giant saves kept the Karlstad team away and instead it was Jack Connolly who outsmarted Furch again and gave 2-0 to the home team.

- I do not think at all, it just comes, says Lassinantti in CMore after the match.

- It will be a real energy boost, it strengthens one.

There were eight minutes left.

But a depressed Färjestad could not resist, despite the home team losing momentum.

3-0 and 4-0 to Luleå came with five and three minutes left of the match (Einar Emanuelsson and Connolly, in open goal cage) and there it was decided.

The sixth match will be played in Karlstad on Monday.

So far, all final matches have been won by the team with home advantage.
