Al-Ahly beat ES Setif by four and is close to the African final

 Al-Ahly club came close to reaching the final of the African Champions League for the third time in a row, after its broad victory over its guest, ES Setif of Algeria, 4/0 today, Saturday, in the first leg of the tournament's semi-final.

At Al-Salam Stadium, Al-Ahly won with one goal in the first half and three goals in the second.

South African striker Percy Tau advanced with a goal for Al-Ahly in the 30th minute, then Taher Mohamed Taher added the second goal in the 54th minute, and Mohamed Sharif secured the third goal in the 72nd minute, then Percy Tau scored his second and fourth goal for Al-Ahly in the last seconds.


ES Setif played with ten players since the 35th minute to send off Amir Karaoui.

Al-Ahly needs to win or draw by any result or even lose by three goals in the return match next week, to be just one step away from winning its third consecutive continental title and eleventh in its history.
