A former Liverpool coach is close to coaching an Arab national team

The Iraqi Football Association continues its consultations to sign a new technical director to train the first team to compensate for the failures that the Iraqi football has experienced in the past years, as it continues to research the various CVs of the coaches to choose the most appropriate among them.

Iraqi media reported that former Liverpool coach Rafa Benitez is a strong candidate to train the Lions of Al-Rafidain, in addition to the Portuguese coaches Nuno Santo and Paulo Fonseca, and the latter is the closest to coaching the Iraqi national team in the coming period. 

And the account of the "Viva Sport Network" stated that a reliable source confirmed that the coach of the Rafidain Lions would be one of the names mentioned.
