Now the biathletes' training period starts in earnest - and Hanna Öberg is finished with the evaluation of last season.

- It is above all the shooting piece that I feel I could do much better, she says.

In skiing, Öberg took great strides forward, which she takes with her as something positive.

And the pre-season she thinks will be better and more balanced this year than last year, which in turn paves the way for a better competition season.

"Easy to doubt your own way"

The rifle has also received an update, Öberg has chosen a slightly lighter one, but the biggest change will probably be mental, she says.

- It is perhaps a downside that we have such a great team, that if you have a period where things are a little worse, it is easy to doubt your own way, says Öberg and continues:

- You do quite different around shooting, how you work around it, so it will be important for me to trust my own path and not be distracted by what others do.

"Could have gone very well"

If Öberg only gets the shot right in combination with the fact that skiing is the same as last year, she can expect significantly better results, she says.

- We look at the season I had, that if I had been at the same shooting percentage as previous years, it could have gone very well.

The solution will be to bring in a flow, a security to stand on.

- It has been taken in some pieces during this season.

It did not help that I came in a little swaying, says Öberg.

When it comes down to competition, the World Cup in Oberhof in February is the big highlight, but the 26-year-old's goal is to maintain a high level throughout the season and to constantly improve his performance.

- It is about raising the level of all parts.

If you manage to raise the level and do well at the World Cup.

During the Olympics in Beijing, Hanna Öberg won gold with the relay team, and in the overall World Cup she finished fourth.

In Pyoengchang 2018, she won Olympic gold in distance, and in the WC in Östersund 2019, it also became an individual distance gold.
