27-year-old Blair Turgott left Östersund after being relegated to the Superettan.

The idea was to move to and play in the United Arab Emirates - but he never got ready to play.

The striker has for some time trained with BK Häcken and has now received a dispensation from the Swedish Football Association to sign for Hisingslaget.

The club announces this on its website.

-

As soon as he gets his work permit, he is ready to play for the Allsvenskan and the hope is to be able to get it in place already for the Värnamo match on Monday, says sports director Martin Ericsson according to the club's website.

The contract is written for two years.

Turgott is looking forward to playing for his new club.

- It has been tough, but you learn as long as you live.

I think everything happens for a reason, my destiny is my opportunity and now I need to take it with both my hands and take myself back as soon as possible.

BK Häcken is a good team - a good group of players and a good coach.

Every time I have met them it has been tough matches, thankfully I will be on the right side now, he says.

Turgott accounted for ten goals in 24 matches in Östersund last year.
