It has been exactly 50 years since Björn Borg sensationally made his debut in the Davis Cup.

On the gravel in Båstad, he faced the experienced world player Onny Parun from New Zealand who took the lead with 2-0 in sets and had 3-0 in third.

Then Borg turned around and won 3-2 in sets.

- He pushed up his shoulders much like the boxer Joe Frazier and pushed too hard from the backfield and turned and won, says tennis journalist Björn Hellberg in the documentary series "The story of Björn Borg".

- I did not make a fantastic match but played well enough to win, says opponent Onny Parun in the same film.

But it turned into a nightmare.

I was a top player so it was a shock.

Björn Borg became the youngest player to win a match in the Davis Cup and with the victory got his international breakthrough.

He then won the French Open six times and Wimbledon five times between 1974 and 1981.
