Tove Alexandersson has won everything that can be won in orienteering, several times.

In normal cases, the Swedish star has a motto of being here and now, and concentrating on the coming season.

But when almost all goals have been achieved, there is one thing that looms further: the Olympics in Italy in four years.

Orienteering is not on the Olympic program, but Alexandersson's other sport, ski alpinism, makes its debut in Milan and Cortina, and her goal is set to be at the top of the podium.

- If I am going to run an Olympics, I want to do it because I think I can be the best and that I can win, she says to the news agency TT.

Can be the first champion

Should she win the gold, she will be the first Olympic champion in ski alpinism ever.

- It would have been very cool, so it is really something that motivates me here and now, to try to be as good as you can be in ski alpinism, she says and continues:

- Now that I have done the orienteering for so many years, it's fun with something a little new as well.

To continue for another four years, I may need something completely different and completely new.

Alexandersson has long divided his year into two seasons, one for orienteering and one for ski alpinism.

But the closer she gets to the Olympics, the more she will have to prioritize away orienteering in favor of ski alpinism.

- I think so.

In recent years, this has been the main focus.
