The International Football Association Board (FIFA) decided the issue of replaying the match between Egypt and Senegal in the qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup, and today issued its final decisions.

The Disciplinary Committee acknowledged that sanctions are all that Senegal will face, and that the match will not be repeated.

FIFA imposed a fine of 180,000 dollars on the Senegalese Football Association, and the holding of an upcoming official match without the presence of the fans, due to failure to implement safety rules, throwing projectiles in the stadium, using fireworks and lasers, and the presence of an offensive banner.
