At the KLPGA Championship, the first major tournament of the domestic women's professional golf season, long hitter Kim A-rim took the comeback victory.

As a strong wind blew, Kim Hyo-joo, who had been in the lead for three days, made a triple bogey on the 14th hole and lost 7 strokes only in the second half and completely collapsed.

By contrast, Kim A-rim stood out by far the best, who took the lead with a huge long hit and then wedged it in with a 14-metre long birdie putt on the most difficult par 4 16th hole.

Kim A-rim, who cut two strokes, was 12-under in total, beating Lee Ga-young by three strokes and taking her first major championship on the domestic stage, earning her third career victory.
