"Fatima Bint Mubarak Academy" held seminars on healthy habits during the month of Ramadan

The Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy held educational seminars under the title "Healthy Habits during the Holy Month of Ramadan", on Thursday, April 14th. The morning seminar was devoted to the cooperation of the Etihad Aviation Group Medical Center and Burjeel Hospital, the medical partner.

The symposium was held at the headquarters of Etihad Airways in Abu Dhabi, and a virtual lecture was held in cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Center for Public Health, the main partner, and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, the bank's main partner through Microsoft Teams.

The symposium provided a package of advice to workers on how to deal with the holy month in a healthy and sound manner, which is a continuation of the Academy's mission in providing integrated programs on customs, patterns and methods that society must follow to enhance its health and safety.

During the seminars and workshops presented by the Academy in cooperation with partners, the specialists stressed that the blessed month of Ramadan is one of the seasons that is a good and valuable opportunity to change many wrong eating habits, and the concept of fasting in the scientific sense is the best way to get rid of many health problems, including problems related to process of digestion.

Noting that wrong habits during fasting can affect health negatively, increase weight and slow down the rate of burning fat in the body, and here lies the importance of following what the workshop aimed at by adopting the correct individual daily habits that help fasting people feel energetic and healthy, and reduce their chance of stress fatigue while fasting.

It is worth mentioning that the academy is in the process of organizing many events and women's tournaments in cooperation with partners to encourage women to practice sports in the community and to continue spreading awareness about the importance of these practices on public health as a healthy lifestyle and lifestyle.
