Bloody match penalty in Luleå: "Bad tackle"

The clock ticked towards its end when Jacob de la Rose tackled Pontus Själin hard into the rim.

Luleåbacken flew in with his face first and remained lying, bloody in the face.

Själin was able to take care of the ice for his own machine and Jacob de la Rose received a match penalty.

Neither Tomas Mitell, Färjestad's coach or Henrik Stridh, assistant coach in Luleå, had seen the situation after the match.

Luleå's forward Juhani Tyrväinen, however, had an opinion.

-I got four matches for a pretty similar tackle.

It is 4-1 and he did not try to take the puck.

I think it was just to do harm.

It was not a good tackle and I hope it is the same rules for everyone.

TT: Should there be a four-match suspension?

-I just said that I got four games for my tackle, and I thought it was pretty much the same.

Rydahl: "No suspension"

Färjestad's forward Gustav Rydahl is of a different opinion.

-No comments, he says before continuing:

-Of course he says that, he is Färjestadskille.

I'm just trying to follow the rules.

I got four games and I think it's pretty much the same.

He tried to take a slap and it was from behind, he says.

Neither Jacob de la Rose nor Pontus Själin were available for media after the match.

Luleå won the match 4-1.
