The anger that some players of the Spanish rugby team transmitted on Thursday has reached the point of exhaustion this Friday.

In a statement they charge the Spanish Federation against harshness.

The text is signed by both the members of the national team and APOME, the association that represents the players of our country.

The players affirm that

"these leaders have done nothing but ruin our participation in the World Cup twice in a row"

.

The hospitals highlight that their work was "well done and doubly overshadowed by the inability to do a good job from the president to the last manager in charge of checking eligibility."

Finally, they demand "the resignation and cleaning" of the Federation.

The statement coincided with the press conference in which Alfonso Feijoo, president of the Spanish Rugby Federation, announced his resignation.

As he has said, it will not be immediate, but will take place when all the circumstances that have motivated the International Federation to leave our country's team without a place in the World Cup due to the improper alignment of Gavin van den Berg are clarified.

Feijoo's departure will take place in approximately a month, as he has specified.

What at first was presented as an investigation by the International Federation on a technical detail -the maximum duration of departures abroad for players assimilated by residence- has degenerated into

a scandal that includes the public accusation of the Spanish Federation against Alcobendas Rugby , Van den Berg club,

for having provided false documentation to request that he not occupy a place as a foreigner.

From that moment he became selectable and came to play two games with the Lions, which are now considered lost.
