When Sweden receives Pia Sundhages Brazil in the European Championship genre rope at Friends arena on June 28, Sweden wants to set an audience record - and there are many indications that this may be the case.

It took less than 24 hours from the time the tickets were released to arrive more than halfway.

13,500 tickets were sold, so many tickets have never been sold in the first day in connection with a women's national team match.

"The pressure around the women's national team is really great.

There is a bubble around the team and the supporters' team ", says Christoffer Lund, responsible for supporter club and audience recruitment at SvFF.

Team captain Caroline Seger remembers the previous audience record, 25,882 people, which was set in the World Cup genre rematch against Germany at Friends 2019.

"We are extremely charged to play again at Friends Arena in Stockholm and for me and the whole team, the goal of the match is a given - a win in a good football effort against Brazil while the stands are colored yellow and blue and we break a new audience record together."
