Maja Stark was in a split lead after the first round in New South Wales in Australia, but has now gone up in the lead alone after a strong second round.

Strong went around on 69 strokes and is a total of seven under par, one stroke ahead of the current runners-up Lydia Hall, Wales, and Magdalena Simmermacher, Argentina.

The 22-year-old finished second in his late season premiere on the tour in Bonville, Australia, last week, one stroke behind the victorious Meghan MacLaren.

"Last week I made some stupid mistakes on the last nine holes.

Now I'm back for more.

My plan is to make up for it this week ", says Stark to the tour's website after the first round.
