response to Kiwoom's request to sign a contract with Kang Jung-ho and terminate his voluntary withdrawal, the KBO blocked Kang's return with an unusual decision.

Since it was a voluntary withdrawal that started with the US advance, he canceled it upon request and restored his player status, but he did not approve Kiwoom's contract with Kang Jung-ho at the discretion of President Huh Gu-yeon.

According to the KBO rules, the governor may not approve a contract with a player that is likely to undermine the development of the league or the protection of the rights and interests of the KBO.
