Series winner Sävehof hosted league four Ystad on Wednesday - a Ystad that impressed in the playoffs and beat Malmö in the quarterfinals with 3-1.
Sävehof's quarter-final series had a more difficult journey than expected when the Partilla team finally won against Lugi with 3-2 in matches.
In tonight's match, you would also get it tough.
A hungry Ystad took advantage of the chances and was able to put Sävehof on the bridge.
When the halftime break sounded, the Scanians got a three-goal lead, 16-13.
- This is too bad, we have to talk to each other and come out at a different pace, says Sävehof's goalkeeper Bertram Obling to C More.
Ystad's defense resisted well and with ten minutes left, the Scanians led with as many as nine balls.
Sävehof still gave it a try and took a timeout, but they did not get any closer than that.
When Hesa Fredrik sounded, it was 26-32 on the scoreboard.
The next match will be played on May 5 in Ystad.
