The UAE national football team faces Oman, Lebanon and Kuwait in the West Asian beach football

The draw ceremony of the second West Asian Beach Soccer Championship, hosted by the Saudi Federation, from 16 to 21 May, was held today, with the participation of seven teams: "The Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Palestine, Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman."

The participating teams were divided into two groups, where the UAE team was drawn in the first group along with the teams of Kuwait, Lebanon and Oman, while the second group included the teams of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Palestine.

The UAE beach soccer team opens its campaign against Oman on May 16, then faces Lebanon on May 17, and concludes the group stage with a meeting with Kuwait on May 18.

According to the tournament regulations, each group plays its matches in a league system from one stage, where the first and second places qualify for the semi-finals, then the winners will move from the two matches of this round to the final.

On the other hand, the teams that did not qualify for the semi-finals will play the matches to determine the positions from 5 to 7 in the league system from one stage.
