Jonas Gunnarsson injured himself unhappily in the second final match against Björklöven and was forced to step down after seven minutes of play in the first period.

On Tuesday, HV71 announces that the cage keeper's injury will stop him from playing for the rest of the season.

- Jonas suffered an injury in a collision in the first period during yesterday's match.

After examinations, it is clear that he will unfortunately miss the rest of the final series, says HV71's doctor Jonas Kalman according to the club's website.

HV71 chooses to pick up a replacement.

Ready for the club is Adam Åhman, who most recently joins from Växjö Lakers.

Åhman was double-registered in February and is thus also allowed to represent HV71.

The goalkeeper has previously played for HV71's junior team.

The third final match between Björklöven and HV71 will be played on Wednesday.

It is 1-1 in the final series.
