The Allsvenskan match was interrupted in the second half after the Häcken supporters' flag-burning and the fact that angry supporters from Helsingborg made an attempt to storm the away section's grandstand section.

The day after the riot, Häcken's club manager Marcus Jodin is saddened.

- We had about 70 people in our away section yesterday.

Of them, a few expose the others to danger.

It is an event that BK Häcken strongly dissociates itself from.

And that we had a bus with sad, disappointed and scared supporters who rolled home to Hisingen yesterday, it hurts me terribly, he says.

Are you surprised by what happened?

- We have had strong growth in recent years, the heel section has almost doubled.

A consequence of this can of course be that unrest creeps in.

We need to be aware of that.

And we have had a number of incidents, reports and suspensions, in recent years that we have historically been relieved of.

But yesterday's event is still exceptional.

Reacted with shock: "Even the Hedge ..."

After the match, Helsingborg's coach Jörgen Lennartsson reacted and said, among other things: "Where have we ended up in society when even Häcken has such fans who fire up the opposing team's flag?"

It feels like part of the reactions have been that it is precisely your supporters who act like this?

- Yes, I think Häcken is associated with good support.

And I want to highlight that we still have very nice supporters.

I think we have had a nice self-cleaning in our heel section, where it is quite clearly distanced if something happens that is not okay.

But we were not prepared for this, says Marcus Jodin.

The police are investigating several reports

After the match, supporters from Helsingborg threw stones and other objects at the away supporters' bus, according to the police in Region South.

Their statement also states that several notifications have been made and that seven applications have been received for access bans.

According to GP, the access bans are for five HIF supporters and two Häcken supporters.

How do you see Helsingborg's responsibility in what happened?

- As I have understood it, it is Helsingborgs supporters who first steal a flag from our supporters.

But it's really irrelevant.

I'm not going to get into pointing out anything about it.

We have a great dialogue with HIF and the Helsingborg Police and for us it is about moving forward in the best possible way.
