It was a thrilling finish to the Australia Women's Classic.

Maja Stark and Englishwoman Meghan MacLaren made up for the victory.

Finally, the Swede fell short.

The 22-year-old Swede finished with 67 strokes, a sharp effort, and made a birdie on the last hole.

But she was still a blow behind the winner MacLaren.

Second straight top spot

Stark has now started the season with two straight top places.

She also finished second in Thailand last week.

It is noteworthy that the Swede Johanna Gustavsson was shared 22nd in the competition.
